Science Readers: Stars

Stars is an expository text that explains ancient and modern stargazing and navigating, galaxies, telescopes, and the formation and classification of stars. An experiment invites students to explore comparing light from different stars. 

The book is divided into sections and some with subsections.  Sentences vary in length and structure.  Labeled and captioned drawings, photographs, diagrams, graphs, and scales support and extend the text. Fact boxes add interest.  The book has a table of contents, glossary, and index.
