9781480745346

Too Much Trash is an informational text that describes the harmful effects of pollution. The text uses  the sentence stem “It harms _____.” A two-page experiment written in procedural language invites students to explore what happens to trash when it is buried and then dug up after five weeks.

Each two-page spread contains one line of text and photographs that support the text directly.  The book has a glossary and an index.

The glossary supports vocabulary development.
