Science Readers: Predict It!

Predict It! is an informational text that explains the scientific method including observation and research, hypothesis, prediction, experimentation, analysis, and report.  An experiment invites students to explore how to formulate a good scientific prediction. 

The book is divided into sections, some with subsections.  Sentences vary in length and structure.  Labeled and captioned photographs, drawings, diagrams, graphs, maps, and scales support the text. Quotation marks and ellipses are used. Fact boxes add interest. A table of contents, glossary and index are provided.

Glossary words are bold faced throughout the text.
