Science Readers: Plant Reproduction

Plant Reproduction is an expository text that explains how seeds work, flower reproduction, seed dispersal, and spore reproduction. An activity invites students to explore which plants have the most seeds. 

The book is divided into sections with some subsections. Sentences vary in length and structure.  Labeled photographs and diagrams support and extend the text.  Fact boxes add interest. Italics are used to introduce new words and dashes are used to expand on an idea. A table of contents, glossary and index are provided.

Glossary words are bold faced throughout the text.
