The Secret Presents

The Secret Presents is a happy, realistic story about secrets and presents at Christmas.  The book concludes with two examples of a thank you note.  The story is told in dialogue and simple narrative.

The text is composed of a variety of sentence types.  Humorous illustrations match the text directly and add meaning.  Quotation marks are used in dialogue.  Exclamation marks are used for emphasis. 

Some vocabulary may require clarification: secret, fibs, enough, promise, and laundry.  The contractions that’s, I’ll, wasn’t, I’m, and isn’t are used.
