A Secret So Special is a realistic, fictional recount about a young girl who feels left out when her dad and brother go on a fishing trip. After following them, she forms a secret of her own when she befriends a seal pup.

Illustrations enhance the meaning of the text. Illustrative, colourful text is used alongside regular, black front.
