Mrs. O’Malley in Alligator Alley is a humorous story.  Mrs. O’Malley likes to dilly-dally in Alligator Alley, but the townspeople tell her alligators are dangerous.  Mrs. O’Malley devises a clever way to keep the alligators at bay, then the townspeople discover Mrs. O’Malley is dangerous!  Several repeating language patterns tell the story in dialogue and simple narrative.
