Keeping Clean

Keeping Clean is an expository text that explores how some animals keep clean by using dust, water, and ants.

Photographs support interpretation. Most images are labeled. An index is included.

Interest words include dust, roll, bugs, feathers, and flap. Adverbs are used in sentences. An activity that asks students to think about they keep themselves clean in comparison to how another animal keeps itself clean is presented in the Teacher’s Guide Notes.
