All Clean
All Clean is a humorous and realistic fiction story about a woman who loved to clean. She went around the house cleaning the windows, walls, and floor. She then cleaned the parrot cage, but the parrot was sucked into the vacuum cleaner! Marion got the parrot out and then had to clean the parrot. The story is narrated with dialogue and illustrative text.
All Clean is a simple narrative story. Critical thinking questions are provided to guide the reader. Illustrations match the text. A visual information guide is provided for teachers to draw students’ attention to the illustrative text (Wh-ooo-sh) as well as the panels throughout the text and why they are there. There is a flow diagram at the end of the book to summarize the events. An activity on creating a flow diagram is provided for teachers to extend students’ learning.
