Jungle Law

Jungle Law is a factual recount about a scientist who studies jungle animals and plant life to write a book about how to survive in the jungle. The book also discusses text connections, planning a factual recount, and features of a factual recount.

A variety of sentence types is used.  Illustrations support and enhance the text. Text boxes call attention to literary features such as alliteration, imagery, similes, and metaphors, and prompt the use of comprehension strategies, such as questioning, predicting, inferring, and summarizing.

The text uses descriptive language.
