Going to Bed

Going to Bed is a humorous and realistic fiction story about a man and his farm animals all going to bed. The man wakes up when he realizes that all his farm animals are in bed with him! Readers gain information from the text, illustrations, and caption.

Going to Bed uses the sentence stem “The _____ is going to bed.” Illustrations match the text. The story includes triggering in questions. There are critical thinking questions to guide the reader. A teacher guide for reading the text and visual information is provided for teachers to draw students’ attention to illustrations, starting points, and caption.
