Animals in the Snow

Animals in the Snow is an informational text about animals that live, hide, and hunt in the snow.  The arrival of a tiger on the concluding pages adds excitement.  The text has several simple repeating language patterns.

All of the sentences are simple and mostly predictable.  The text poses questions directly to the reader. Bold face is used for emphasis. Vibrant photographs match the text directly.  The concluding two-page spread provides photographs of all the animals and an index.
