Big Animals, Little Animals

Big Animals, Little Animals is a factual text that invites readers to learn about big animals and little animals. 

The body parts of the animals are labeled. Throughout the text, the word big is slightly larger and bolded while the word little is slightly smaller and thinner than the rest of the font.  An index is presented.

Interest words include legs, ears, tail, and body. Simple adjectives, big and little, are used. A drawing activity that invites students to think about big and little animals is shown in the Teacher’s Guide notes.
