A New Ice-Cream Machine
A New Ice-Cream Machine is a humorous, fictional text about a favourite ice cream shop that is going out of business because the owner’s ice cream machine breaks down. The children decide to run a flea market and collect all the clothes, toys, and games they can find. Parents soon realize that the children took their clothing from home and have to pay money to get their clothing back. The children give the money from the flea market to the ice cream shop owner and he is able to buy a new machine.
