Tails, Tails, Tails in an informational text describing how different animals use their tails, from climbing to escaping to swimming to sheltering.  The skunk’s tail has a special message!  The text is composed of simple language patterns that are close to oral language.

All of the sentences are short and similar in structure.  Vibrant photographs match the text directly, and some inset photographs provide detail. Bold face and an exclamation mark are used for emphasis.  The book concludes with an index.
