Spy Underwater

Spy Underwater is a humorous and realistic fiction story about a spy that went underwater and then popped up in a cave. The spy took out his spy glasses and saw some red fish, but they all of a sudden disappeared. It happened again until the spy realized that the stone in the water was actually a fish eating the little fish! The story is narrated with dialogue, illustrative text, and onomatopoeia.

Spy Underwater is a simple narrative story. Critical thinking questions are provided to guide the reader. Illustrations match the text. A visual information guide is provided for teachers to draw students’ attention to the illustrative text, bold font, layout, and design. There is an exemplar of signs at the end of the book to show signs in the water.
