Rats

Rats is an expository text that shows readers where rats live, what they eat and what their teeth and nails are used for. Pet rats, and the relationship between rats and people, is discussed.

Illustrations enhance and extend meaning. Few photographs are labeled. A scale diagram is used to show the average size of a rat. An index is included.
