Look At My Eggs!

Look at My Eggs! is a fictional story about a hen who has laid eggs and is waiting for them to hatch. Simple dialogue is used.

Illustrations support the text. A two-page spread of illustrations shows hen sitting on her eggs across various weather conditions; thus, the passing of time is visually depicted.

The text is composed of a few high-frequency words and features the interest words road, path, grass, and pond. To conclude, a Mapping Chart of hen’s journey is included.
