Legs

Legs is an expository text about the different ways that animals and people use their legs to move. Examples include running, jumping, and walking.

A picture of the animal or human in movement is depicted on a two-page spread. Their moving legs are labelled in each image.

The text is composed of a few high-frequency words such as for, are, and look. The initial consonant l appears in legs and look. An index is located at the end of the book and is organized by the different ways in which legs can move.
