Hole in the Garden

The Hole in the Garden is a humorous, fictional text about Eddy and his dad who find a hole in their garden and have no idea how it got there. While at school, the boy makes creative stories about how the hole got there. They later find out a rabbit made the hole. Dialogue is used between characters.

Illustrations add meaning and interest. Some speech bubbles are used.  Eddy’s stories are illustrated.

Adjectives are used. To conclude, a true or false chart is shown. In addition, simple activities that include oral, written, and visual communication are presented in the Teacher’s Guide Notes.
