Gran Helps Out!

Gran Helps Out! is a realistic fiction about a boy named Ben who is asked to clean his room before Gran comes over. When Gran sees that Ben throws all of his items where you can’t see them, she buys boxes, paints them, labels them, and organizes Ben’s things. Dialogue is used between two characters.

Illustrations add meaning and interest. Some speech bubbles are used.

Adjectives are used. To conclude,  an image of Ben’s labeled kitchen is shown. In addition, simple activities that include oral, written, and visual communication are presented in the Teacher’s Guide Notes.
