Come in the Grass

Come in the Grass is a humorous and fictional story about a monster that wants another monster to come with him to different places outside. When they go in the garden, the geese chase after them so they run into the barn! Readers gain information from the text, illustrations, storyboard and speech bubble.

Come in the Grass uses the sentence stem “Come in the _____.” Illustrations match the text. The story includes triggering in questions. There are critical thinking questions to guide the reader.
