Celebrate Canada: It's Big

It’s Big is a description of some of Canada’s weird and wonderful roadside structures, from Glooscap to the Big Nickel to the gigantic Ukrainian pysanka.  Fact boxes titled “Big fact” add additional information.  The style is conversational and informative.

Mostly simple sentences are used.  A Contents lists the six sections in the book.  The text is supported directly by headings, a map, and labelled photographs.

Interest words include furniture, travellers, landmarks, heroes, and sunflowers.  The verbs stands, created, and celebrates are used.  The adjectives tallest, clever, huge, and real are used.
