Cat and Dog

Cat and Dog is an animal fantasy about a dog who keeps wanting to be where the cat is.

Illustrations support the text. To conclude, a two-page spread titled “Labels” is presented that labels the animals and things in the environment from a scene from the story.

The text is composed of a few easy, high-frequency words, and features the interest word chair. Activities that promote oral, visual, and written communication are found in the Teacher’s Guide notes.
