Bubble Trouble! BIG BOOK

Bubble Trouble! is a humorous animal fantasy.  Monkey gives Crocodile some bubble gum and tells him he can chew and chew but not to blow a bubble.  Of course, Crocodile does blow bubbles, with disastrous and hilarious results. The story is told in simple repeating language patterns with both dialogue and narrative.

The story has a beginning, middle end text structure.  All the sentences are short and largely predictable.  Quotation marks, exclamation marks, commas, and ellipses are used.  Bold face is used for emphasis.  Large display type is used in art to enhance meaning.  Monkey and Crocodile are capitalized names.  Humorous illustrations support the text directly and add meaning.

The onomatopoetic words wh-o-o-o-sh and pop are used.  The contraction don’t is used.  Interest words include bubble, trouble, pop, mad, and chew.
