Always Growing: Hair

Always Growing: Hair is a nonfiction, picture book that shows readers how hair grows back when you cut it. Simple language patterns are similar to children’s oral language.

Photographs provide a split view, showing both long hair and hair being cut by a hairdresser.  There is a clear separation of photograph and print.

One syllable words are repeated beneath each image in a large, easy-to-read font. The words cut and grow, along with their images, are presented at the end of the book under Words to Know
