A Wild Race In the Sun

A Wild Race in the Sun is a narrative about a girl named Peta who gets a wild pony for her birthday. At first, the pony will not let listen to Peta and Peta's parents want to send the pony back. After a wild ride across the hills, the pony learns to trust Peta and the parents decide the pony can stay. The book also discusses text connections, planning a narrative, and features of a narrative.
