Trackers

Trackers is an expository text that describes a variety of methods and purposes for tracking.  Indigenous expertise, dogs, GPS devices, infrared cameras, and radar are used to track animals, criminals, lost people, and wildlife. The style is informative and conversational.

Mostly simple sentences are used.  Captioned and labelled photographs support the text directly. The book concludes with a photographic summary and an index. 

Some words may require clarification: skills, disaster, detect, devices, and signal.  The suffixes -en (broken) and -tion (migration) are used.
