The Market
The Market is a humorous and realistic fiction story about mom and daughter shopping together. The daughter takes her to the balloon stand, but a bird pops one of the balloons! She buys the balloons, and they lift her off the ground. Readers gain information from the text, illustrations, signs, and speech bubble.
