The Fun Bus BIG BOOK

The Fun Bus is a humorous story.  Mr. Bigelow drives a bus and he doesn’t like any fuss.  When Mrs. Bigelow hears about all the fuss on her husband’s bus, she learns to drive a bus so she can enjoy the fuss – and she calls it The Fun Bus.  Several repeating language patterns tell the story in dialogue and simple narrative.

The story has a beginning, middle end text structure.  Simple and compound sentences are used.  Quotation marks, exclamation marks, and commas are used. Bold face is used for emphasis.  An artistic font is used to add meaning to words such as jiggled and wiggled.  Humorous illustrations support the text directly and add meaning. 

The contractions won’t, there’s and what’s are used.  Interest words include clapped, stamped, jiggled, wiggled, beat, terrible, and fuss.
