The Ants

The Ants is a humorous and fictional animal fantasy story about a bunch of ants getting into different foods around the kitchen. They are having fun until the woman sees ants in her ice cream! Readers gain information from the text, illustrations, and speech bubble.

The Ants uses the sentence stem “We go in the _____.” Illustrations match the text. The story includes triggering in questions. There are critical thinking questions to guide the reader.
