The Anteater's Tongue
The Anteater’s Tongue is a humorous and realistic fiction story about an anteater trying to eat ants. Anteater keeps seeing ants, but when he goes to “zap!” them, they disappear. Anteater sees ants in the log, but gets his tongue stuck in the long! The ants escape and climb up a tree while the anteater stays stuck. The story is narrated with illustrative text and onomatopoeia.
