Step into the Desert

Step into the Desert is an informational text about the desert including what deserts are, how they are formed, where they are located, and the animals and plants that live in the desert.  

The book is divided into chapters and has a table of contents.  Sentences vary in length and structure.  Labelled photographs, diagrams, and maps support and extend the text.  

Potentially new words such as dunes, erosion, moisture, and oasis are defined in context and in the glossary.
