Passport to Earth

Passport to Earth is an engaging, realistic fantasy about a family of aliens who decide to move to Planet Earth; however, before heading to Earth, the family is required to accurately fill in countless passport forms from Space Village and Planet Earth, and, in the process, encounter difficulties when their cat is quarantined. This story illustrates the difficulty and extensive nature of immigration processes for families.

There is a variety of layout in both illustrations and print throughout the text. All eleven forms and letters from various departments are visually presented to students.

Abbreviations such as dept (department) and e-mail (electronic mail) are used.  To conclude, a two-page spread invites readers to learn about how to design and write a form by following six steps.
