Pancakes

Pancakes is a humorous, fictional text about a family who makes a pancake for themselves when they enter the kitchen. When dad walks in, he flips the pancake, it gets stuck on the ceiling, and falls on his head. Dialogue is used between characters.

Illustrations add meaning and interest. Speech bubbles are used.
