On the Seashore

On the Seashore is an expository text that identifies different types of animals that live on the seashore. The sentence stem “Here is a _______” is repeated throughout.

Pictures of each animal and their nests are depicted on a two-page spread. For each animal, a photograph is paired with a labeled illustration that draws children’s attention to the animal’s body parts.
