Places to Go is a simple, nonfiction text that shows children all the places they could potentially visit and the things they could see. Places presented in the book includes beaches, forests, and mountains.

Each page has a simple description that aligns with corresponding images. These illustrations are clear and support meaning. Sentences are mostly five words long but do turn over one line.

Concept words are illustrated. One and two syllable words are prevalent. High frequency words such as, to, go and we, are repeated throughout the book.
