No TV is a realistic fiction about kids in Sun Sun House whose TV’s stop working. Jack’s mom begins to tell him a silly story and the other children come up to their room to join. Instead of watching TV on a Saturday night, the children use their imagination and make up stories.

Illustrations add detail, interest, and humour to the text and are found on each page. Few callouts prompt prediction and allow students to make inferences.
