    New Cornerstone has been developed to support young learners as they strive for academic success and full English proficiency in a global environment. Each unit is organized around a Big Question which provides a starting point for building understanding around key concepts and vocabulary.

    Grammar rules are explained clearly with easy-to-understand examples, while connected learning and research-based reading and language instruction are balanced with high-interest, age-appropriate stories.

    New Cornerstone exposes young English learners to authentic spoken language with Big Questions for discussion and Big Question videos, that link all language and literacy content. As well as English fluency, habit-building activities encourage reflection, exploration and revision of transferable academic skills.
