Mon reseau, ma vie

Confidence in French Begins with Purposeful Language Learning 

Self-confident students tend to face situations head-on and be risk takers. They see a purpose in their learning and view that learning in a positive light.  Mon Réseau, Ma Vie is a new program for Core French, Grades 7 and 8, designed to empower students with confidence in learning and using French. The program is function-driven and based on action-oriented tasks, which are purposeful within authentic contexts—those that students face in daily life in a variety of situations.

Mon Réseau, Ma Vie consists of 4 modules per grade:

Contexte 1 : Mieux vivre

• Attitudes face à la vie
• Attitudes face à la santé 

Contexte 2 : Les défis

• Motivation personnelle
• Surmonter des obstacles

Contexte 3: Explorer le monde

• Développer ses goûts et intérêts
• Des aventures extraordinaires

Contexte 4 : Résoudre des énigmes ou des problèmes

• Ce que je veux comprendre
• Ce que je peux résoudre
• Développer un esprit critique

Each module features authentic texts enabling students to engage in relevant, meaningful communication.
