Make It: Chocolate is an informational text about chocolate including where cocoa beans come from, the history of chocolate, how chocolate is made, and some facts about the consumption of chocolate. 

The book is divided into chapters and has a table of contents.  Sentences vary in length and structure.  Labelled photographs, illustrations, and maps support and extend the text.  

Potentially new words such as cacao beans, conche, and ferment are defined in context and in the glossary.
