Look Out, Fox!

Look out Fox! is a realistic, fictional story about a fox who wants to live in the hole that the mole, rabbit, and rat created for themselves. Dialogue is used.

Illustrations support the text. Labeled signs for rabbit, mole, rat, and fox are used to mark their holes. To conclude, a two-page spread illustrates all the animals with the signs that are marking their holes.

The text is composed of a few high-frequency words and features the interest words hole, mole, rat, rabbit, and fox. The initial consonant r appears in rabbit and rat.
