LLI Teal Choice Library (250 books, Levels T - Y)

The LLI Teal Choice Library is designed to support independent reading for students in Grades 6–12. It includes:

• 250 carefully selected trade books
• Reading levels T–Y, aligned with the Fountas & Pinnell Text Level Gradient™
• A mix of fiction and nonfiction titles across diverse genres and topics
• Books chosen for high interest and quality, often from recognizable series or well-known authors
• A Guide to Independent Reading with:
  • Book summaries
  • Prompts for discussion and writing
  • Tips for helping students make good reading choices

• Display tubs, cards, pockets, and labels for classroom organization

The library is intended to motivate struggling readers by giving them the power of choice—students select books that match their interests and reading levels, which helps build reading stamina and engagement.
