Let's Eat

Let’s Eat is an expository text that invites readers to learn about the different ways that animals and humans get their food.

Illustrations support the text. The tools people and animals use to get their food, such as sticks, rocks, and can openers, are labeled in photographs.

There are mostly one and two syllable words. Interest words include can opener, chopsticks, lizard, and monkey. To conclude, an index is presented. In the Guide Notes for teachers, a mapping chart activity is suggested.
