Jacko, the Dreamer is a realistic fiction about a boy name Jacko who causes trouble because he is always dreaming about being a soccer player or a skateboarder. His grandpa gets him a watch that beeps which reminds Jacko that he must stop and think. As Jacko begins to imagine a scenario, the watch beeps and he heads outside with his grandpa. His grandpa accidentally hits Jacko’s mom with a ball and Jacko jokes that his grandpa may need the watch.
