Hippocrates: Making the Way for Medicine

Hippocrates Making the Way for Medicine is an expository nonfiction text that explores all about the Greek doctor, Hippocrates, including his early years, changing the world of medicine, medicine becoming science, and his legacy. The text includes a section on surgeon Susan Love. Readers gain information from text and graphics. Multiple scientists and their work are highlighted in the text.
