Grandmas Budgie

Grandma’s Budgie is a narrative about a little boy who gives a budgie to his grandma to help her after his grandpa dies. His grandma loves the budgie and when she gets sick and goes to the hospital, the budgie may be the only one to make her feel better. The book also discusses text connections, planning a personal recount, and features of a personal recount. The text includes some content that is sensitive in nature.
