Food Fit for a King
Food Fit for a King is a humorous story about Charlie McBing who receives letters from the king informing him that the king, his ten children, and his twenty cats are coming to visit on Saturday. Charlie does Internet research to learn what food is fit for kings, kids, and cats – and then the king cancels his visit! Charlie finds a novel way to ensure the food does not go to waste. Several repeating language patterns tell the story in dialogue and narrative.
