Clown’s Pants is a humorous fiction story about a clown noticing his pants are dirty and trying to wash them. While drying outside, his pants flew away! They went over the sea, mountains, and jungle. When Clown asked a bird where his pants are, the bird said “on a monkey!” The story is narrated with dialogue, speech bubbles, and illustrative text.

Clown’s Pants is a simple narrative story. Critical thinking questions are provided to guide the reader. Illustrations match the text. A visual information guide is provided for teachers to draw students’ attention to the bold font, illustrative text, and the layout and design of advertisements. There is an exemplar at the end of the book to show an advertisement for lost pants in the newspaper.
