Cargo Cat

Cargo Cat is a realistic fiction about a worker named Carlos who accidentally put a box his cats fell asleep in on a plane. Carlos sends a message to other workers and the cat is flown back to him. Dialogue is used between characters.

Illustrations add meaning and interest. The electronic message is shown and cat’s trip to and from the cargo shed is shown.

Commas separate listed items. Some sentences begin with a dependent clause. Adjectives appear. To conclude, the route map with both trips, as well as a legend, is shown. In addition, simple activities that include oral, written, and visual communication are presented in the Teacher’s Guide Notes.
